The Rampogos family is part of the Simalungun kinship world. In Batak tradition, your marga is more than a surname — it is a key to tarombo, marriage custom, and belonging.
Note: Names like Simalungun, Toba, Karo, Mandailing, Angkola, and Pakpak are Batak ethnic groups, not marga. Your marga is the clan name (for example Damanik or Sinaga under Simalungun).
